Puppy buyers
beware!!
Before purchasing a Berner puppy ask
the breeder to show you certificates for both parents for the following genetic
tests:
If any Bernese Mountain Dog breeder
cannot produce these certificates look elsewhere for your pup. Many breeders
don't do these tests because of the costs involved, or their dog(s) may or have
failed or just don't care. Make sure you care!!!
All our adult dogs have undergone and
passed genetic testing for hips and elbows, eyes, cardiac, and von
Willebrand's Disease (blood clotting disorder) to give your
puppy the best chance for a healthy life.
Certificates available upon request.
Canadian born Purebred – definition
of:
"To be considered a
purebred, both parents of the puppy must be registered with the CKC. It is the seller's responsibility to uphold
Federal law and provide the new owner with a certificate of registration within
six months of the date of sale."
